Game Audio

Showreel

Welcome to my Sound Redesign Showreel! In this video, I’ve taken game trailer footage, removed the original audio, and reimagined the sound design to create immersive new audio experiences. Please note that all visual content remains the property of its respective owners and is used here solely for demonstration purposes.

GAME SCORE SELECTION

Here’s a selection of original music I composed for various game projects — from released titles to unreleased pitches.
This collection includes main themes, battle cues, and ambient pieces, offering a glimpse into the musical moods and worlds I enjoy creating.

Projects

Lou’s Lagoon

Lou’s Lagoon invites players to explore islands, pilot their own plane, and gather resources while meeting a cast of charming characters—all at a relaxed, self-paced rhythm. With no pressures or penalties, the game focuses on creating a warm, feel-good experience. My approach to the audio was to design satisfying, lively sounds that make interactions rewarding and intuitive, while the music reflects the unique vibe of each island, enhancing the game’s welcoming and immersive atmosphere.

Into The Emberlands

Publisher: Daedalic
Year: 2025
Platform: PC, Switch
Skills: Sound Design, Composition, Implementation

Imagine tipping over a giant toy chest and, with a child’s boundless imagination, weaving all the pieces into a magical world — that’s Into The Emberlands. In this vibrant, endlessly charming world, my aim was to craft a soundscape that feels tactile and deeply satisfying. The score not only highlights the game’s relaxing atmosphere but also adapts continuously to the gameplay and shifting environments, ensuring the audio remains as dynamic as the world itself.

SIGNALIS

Developer: rose-engine
Publisher: Humble Games
Year: 2022

Skills: Sound Design, Implementation

The first time I played SIGNALIS during development, inspiration poured out of me. The game’s striking visual presentation creates such a rich, tangible atmosphere that it immediately evokes a clear sense of how this world should sound. Contributing to this with my sound design felt like a natural extension of that vision. It was an honor to work alongside rose-engine, 1000eyes, and Cicada Sirens, helping to create an audio experience that deepens the game’s haunting, otherworldly presence.

XEL

Developer: Tiny Roar
Publisher: Assemble Entertainment
Year: 2022
Platform: PC, PS4, Switch
Skills: Sound Design, Composition, Implementation

The premise of creating an action-adventure that pays homage to the iconic classics of the genre, set in a sci-fi world, immediately got me excited. I had a blast crafting a sound aesthetic that reflected the charm and vibrancy of the game’s art style and storytelling. Blending both classic and modern elements, I aimed to create an audio experience that complements the unique feel of the game.

Elements Destiny

Developer: ShrooMoon
Publisher: Deck13
Year: 2025
Platform: PC
Skills: Sound Design, Composition

As a kid and young teenager, I fell in love with the great JRPG classics of the SNES and PS1 eras. Those games showed me how uniquely immersive video games could be in storytelling. Elements Destiny captures the soul and charm of those beloved classics. If only I could tell my younger self that one day, he’d get to contribute his own music and sound effects to a game like this.

Bomb Bots Arena

Developer: Tiny Roar
Publisher: Tiny Roar
Year: 2020
Platform: PC, Mobile
Skills: Sound Design, Composition, Implementation

Explosions, robotic sounds and voice effects, and sci-fi abilities — a massive playground for a sound designer! Working on this game with the lovely team at Tiny Roar was an absolute blast. What made it even more fun was the chance to infuse my long-standing love for French Electro into the game’s music, perfectly complementing its unique style.

Potion Party

Developer: RPGames
Publisher: RPGames
Year: 2021
Platform: PC, PS4, Switch
Skills: Sound Design

Potion Party invites players to run their own alchemy shop, brewing potions solo or with friends as quickly as customers demand. My goal with the sound design was to create clear, punchy audio feedback that helps players stay organized amidst the game’s hectic pace. At the same time, I wanted the sounds to reflect the game’s charming 8-bit aesthetic, adding simplicity and a touch of lo-fi warmth to complement its lovable retro style.

About

Based in Hamburg, I’m an audio and gaming nerd. What started as a simple ambition to create and perform electronic dance music quickly grew into a deep passion for crafting and manipulating sounds. To turn this passion into a profession, I pursued a degree in sound engineering, followed by hands-on experience as a sound designer and audio engineer in a recording studio.

While I’ve been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember, it was during my time working in the studio that my fascination for the world of game audio truly developed. Combining these two passions, I embarked on my journey into the games industry, constantly striving to enrich the gaming experience through sound.

Services

In the realm of game audio, sound is more than just background noise; it’s a vital component of the interactive experience. I specialize in crafting audio that adapts fluidly to the evolving gameplay, enhancing player immersion. To achieve this, I focus on developing unique audio solutions and systems tailored to your game’s specific requirements. My aim is to ensure that every sound not only complements the action but also elevates the overall gaming experience.

My focus is on crafting distinctive sound effects that enhance gameplay and create memorable experiences for players. I aim to produce audio elements that are not only functional but also integral to the game’s identity. Each sound is designed to contribute to the overall atmosphere and gameplay experience, ensuring that the audio complements both the visual elements and the narrative. This commitment to originality helps your game stand out.

From motif-driven themes to atmosphere-enhancing mood scores, I explore the diverse landscape of music in games. Each composition is crafted to enhance the player’s experience, allowing the score to evolve alongside the gameplay.
Every game is unique, with its own design and narrative. I work to ensure the music enhances both, creating soundscapes that resonate with players and elevate the overall experience.

Whether using middleware or in-house tools, I ensure that sound effects and music are delivered at the right moments and behave as intended. By maintaining clear and effective communication with the programmers, I minimize their effort required for audio-related tasks, allowing them to keep their focus on core development.

High-quality assets alone cannot guarantee an exceptional audio experience. It’s essential to consider what other sound effects and music might be playing simultaneously. How quickly will sounds overlap or follow one another? Which sounds need to stand out in a given moment?
To create an audio mix that is immersive, cohesive, and of the highest quality, I address these questions throughout the entire production process, ensuring that every element contributes effectively to the overall experience.

Whether it’s for cutscenes, cinematics, or trailers, linear visuals are an important aspect of game development. Knowing exactly when each cue will hit opens up unique creative opportunities in audio design. I take full advantage of this potential, crafting sound that elevates the storytelling and amplifies the emotional impact of every moment.
